How is reading time calculated?
We use an average of 200 words per minute for silent reading and 130 words per minute for reading aloud.
Is my text saved anywhere?
No. Everything is processed in your browser and disappears when you close the page.

Social media: an Instagram bio allows 150 characters and an X post 280. Use the character counter to stay within the limit.
Fix caps lock: if you typed everything with caps lock on, tap “Sentence case” and your text will be fixed.
Clean copied text: text copied from a PDF often has extra line breaks and spaces. Use “Remove line breaks” and “Remove extra spaces”.
Listen to your text: text to speech helps you catch mistakes, rehearse a presentation or rest your eyes. Available voices depend on your device.
